Accessibility Statement

Sierra Exclusive is committed to making this website accessible to the widest possible audience, including people with disabilities. Everyone should be able to learn what we do, read our resources, and reach us easily.

Our standard

We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, the standard widely referenced for the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for people with visual, hearing, cognitive, and motor impairments.

What we’ve done

  • Descriptive alternative text on images so screen-reader users get the same information
  • Full keyboard navigation, a visible focus indicator, and a “skip to content” link
  • Semantic headings and page landmarks so assistive technology can navigate the structure
  • Color contrast checked against WCAG AA thresholds for text and controls
  • Labeled forms and clear link text
  • Respect for the “reduce motion” setting for visitors who prefer less animation
  • An accessibility toolbar (the button in the lower-left corner of every page) for higher contrast, larger text, a dyslexia-friendly font, link highlighting, a larger cursor, paused animations, and a reading guide

Ongoing effort

Accessibility is an ongoing commitment, not a one-time fix. We test the site with automated tools and manual checks and resolve issues as we find them. Some content provided by third parties — such as embedded chat, booking, or video — may not be fully under our control, and we work with those providers to improve it.
